 Right forms of verbs এর আদ্যোপান্ত || Job Exam Preparation

Right forms of verbs এর আদ্যোপান্ত। এর পরে আশা করি আর লাগবে না। আপনারা যারা বিভিন্ন নিয়োগ পরীক্ষায় অংশ নিচ্ছেন, আপনাদের জন্য আশা করি উপকারে আসবে। আমাদের আজকের পোস্টের মাধ্যমে আপনারা Right forms of verbs এর আদ্যোপান্ত শিখতে পারবেন।

1. Subject singular verb-

1- (be) a student of class 9.

She- (be) my sister.

2. Subject plural verb- e plural

The people of Bangladesh - (be) very poor.

Ans: The people of Bangladesh are very poor.

They-(be) happy couple as I knew.

Ans: They were a happy couple as I knew.

Plural-- are, were, have

Singular-- am, is, was, has

3. Material Noun. Abstract noun at Uncountable noun singular verb- fot

air, hair, smoke, oxygen, water, milk, ink, soup, dust, sand, rice,

grass, salt. honesty, courage, peace. sympathy, cotton, furniture, cooking.

parking, clothing, love, advice, information, knowledge of

The air (be) gentle

Ans: The air is gentle.

Your hair (be) black.

Ans: Your hair is black.

Oxygen (be) necessary for living beings.

Ans: Oxygen is necessary for living beings.

Honesty - (be) the best policy.

Ans: Honesty is the best policy.

4. Adjective এর পূর্বে determiner the' যুক্ত হলে verb plural হয়। যেমন brave poor.

rich এই adjective গুলোর পূর্বে determiner the' বসানো হলে তারা সমাজের বিশেষ শ্রেণির কাউকে বুঝায়। যেমন the brave (সাহসীরা), the poor ( দরিদ্ররা) the rich (ধনীরা) ইত্যাদি।

The brave (be) free from cowardice.

Ans: The brave are free from cowardice.

The poor - (be) not always unhappy.

Ans: The poor are not always unhappy.

5. দুটো Singular subject যদি conjunction দ্বারা যুক্ত হয় তাহলে verb plural হয়। যেমন-

Rina and Bina - (be) two sisters.

Ans: Rina and Bina are two sisters.

Rama and Zima- (arrivé) there. Ans: Rama and Zima have arrived there.

6. দুটি singular noun যদি একটি বস্তু বা ব্যক্তি বুঝায় তবে verb singular হয়। যেমন-

The horse and carriage (be) at the gate. Ans: The horse and carriage is at the gate.

The rise and fall of life- (be) due to one's activities.

Ans: The rise and fall of life is due to one's activities.

The MP and Minister of the Sangsad - (come)

Ans: The MP and Minister of the Sangsad is coming.

7. দুটি Singular noun যদি একই বস্তু বা ব্যক্তিকে না বুঝিয়ে ভিন্ন ভিন্ন ব্যক্তি বা বস্তুকে বুঝায় তাহলে verb plural হবে। যেমন-

The MP and the Minister of the Sangsad - (come)

Ans: The MP and the Minister of the Sangsad are coming.

8. Every, each, any, everyone, someone, anything, nothing, no em Subject

হিসেবে কাজ করে তাহলে তাদের verb singular হয়। যেমন-

Every flower and every fruit- (be) the gift of God.

Ans: Every flower and every fruit is the gift of God.

Each line and each column- (introduce) to him.

Ans: Each line and each column was/is introduced to him.

Everybody- (be) not present there.

Ans: Everybody is/was not present there.

Someone - (be) present there.

Ans: Someone was present there.

Nothing - (be) useless on earth.

Ans: Nothing is useless on earth.

9. Each যদি কখনো plural subject- কে নির্দেশ করে তখন verb plural হয়। যেমন-

The pupils each - (have) to take the competition.

Ans: The pupils each have to take the competition.

singular subject for, nor, either...........or, neither.........nor

যুক্ত হয় তরে verb-টি singular হয়। যেমন-

He or his brother - (be) absent.

Ans: He or his brother is/was absent.

Our happiness or our sorrow - (be) due to our own activities.

Ans: Our happiness or our sorrow is due to our own activities.

Neither he nor his brother - (be) present.

Ans: Neither he nor his brother is/was present.

Either the pen or the paper - (be) on the table.

Ans: Either the pen or the paper is /was on the table.

11. singular de plural subject or, nor, either...or, neither....... nor

হয় তখন plural subject -টি শেষে বসে এবং verb-টি plural হয়। যেমন-

He or his friends (do) this work.

Ans: He or his friends have done this work

Neither you nor her sisters - (be) absent.

Ans: Neither you nor her sisters were absent.

Subject - a fafea person or, nor, either...or, neither.........

হয় তখন শেষোভ person এর Subject অনুযায়ী verb বসে। যেমন-

Either he or I- (be) mistaken.

Ans: Either he or I am mistaken.

Neither you nor she - (be) beautiful.

Ans: Neither you nor she is beautiful.

13. f Number/person-47 subject and verb plural

You, he and I (be) friends.

Ans: You, he and I are friends.

You and he - (be) birds of the same feather.

Ans: You and he are birds of the same feather.

14. Collective noun সমষ্টি/একক অর্থে singular verb হয়। কিন্তু পৃথক পৃথক সভা বুঝালে verb plural হয়। যেমন-

The army - (be) fled.

Ans: The army was fled.

The committee - (issue) its decision.

Ans: The committee has issued its decision.

The committee - (divide) into their decisions.

Ans: The committee are divided into their decisions.

15. A number of, a lot of, majority of, a many a plural noun verb

plural হয়। যেমন-

A nuber of boys - (be) present there.

Ans: A number of boys were present there.

A lot of girls- (dance) on the stage.

Ans: A lot of girls were dancing on the stage.

The majority of students- (do) this work.

Ans: The majority of students have done this work.

16. The number of many a-এ দুটি subject হিসেবে বসলে singular verb কে নির্দেশ করে। যেমन-

The number of students- (be) 500.

Ans: The number of students is/was 500.

Many a student - (ruin) his/her future through using drugs.

Ans: Many a student ruins his/her future through using drugs.

Ans: The news is false.

Civics (be) my favorite subject.

Ans: Civics is my favorite subject.

17. কিছু কিছু Noun আছে যাদের দেখতে plural মনে হলেও তারা প্রকৃতপড়ো singular verb-কে নির্দেশ

করে। যেমন-

News, wages, politics, civics, whereabouts, statistics, mathematics.

The news (be) false.

people, police, dozen, cattle, gentry, folk, poultry en

The police (be) the friends of the public.

Ans: The police are the friends of the public.

Two dozen- (make) twenty-four.

Ans: Two dozen make twenty-four.

18. কিছু কিছু noun আছে যাদের দেখতে singular মনে হলেও তারা plural verb কে নির্দেশ করে। যেমন-

Ans: One of the boys is brave.

Each of the girls - (be) present.

Ans: Each of the girls was/is present.

Neither of the two men - (be) very weak.

Ans: Neither of the two men is/was very weak.

20. More than one, singular verb- plural verb-কে নির্দেশ করে। যেমন-

More than a boy - (be) guilty.

19. Singular subject, plural noun of fire verb singular -

One of the boys - (be) brave.

Ans: More than a boy is /was guilty.
